What information we collect
We only collect information that Lee Helmore needs to fulfil his job as your wedding photographer. The personal information we collect from you may include your name and contact details, including your home address, phone number and email address. Your personal data also includes the photos that Lee Helmore will take during your wedding.
Like most website operators, Lee Meek Photography collects information that web browsers and servers typically make available such as the IP address, browser type, language preference, referring site, the date and time of each visitor request and variations of device and demographic information available. This information is collected by our website host and service provider Squarespace.
How and why we collect your information
When you first get in touch through our enquiry form, we will ask you for your name, email address and phone number as well as the wedding date and venue. We collect your name and contact details to be able to contact you about your enquiry and to discuss relevant wedding and photography related information with you. We ask you for the wedding date and venue to be able to determine whether or not Lee Meek Photography will be free on the specified date.
If we agree to work together, we will also ask you to provide your home address during the signing of the contract. We need your home address for correspondence purposes and to be able to send you albums or any other products you might buy from us.
Lee Meek Photography also uses Google Analytics. When you browse Lee Meek Photography’s website, www.leemeekphotography.co.uk, Google Analytics tracks how you use our site. It tracks which page you visit and for how long, for example, or from which site or social media platform you reached. We use Google Analytics to improve our website and to better understand how we get website traffic.
Who we share your information with
We never pass on your personal information (home address, phone number and email address) to any third parties. We use an external photo hosting site, Pic Time, to enable you to download and order prints from your wedding day. Pic Time’s privacy policy can be found here: https://www.pic-time.com/#PrivacyPolicy
We also use the photos from your wedding day to promote our service on our website, our blog, on social media, on wedding related websites, in articles, magazines and brochures, in exhibitions, adverts and other material. Once given permission by Lee Meek Photography, the images from your wedding day may also be used by other wedding vendors such as, for example, your make-up artists, florists, hair dressers or wedding venue to promote their services.
How long do we keep your information
We will keep your personal information (name, home address, mobile, email address and any communication) for 2 years. We will keep a small collection of photos from your wedding day until the end of Lee Helmore’s working career. All other photos will be deleted after 2 years together with your personal information.
What are your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you. You also have the right to have your personal information deleted and to withdraw consent from us displaying your photos from the wedding day.
