Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of my most frequently asked questions, if there is anything else that you would like to ask me please do get in touch
Do you take any group shots?
Yes, absolutely although I am a documentary style photographer, I do understand that people may have traveled a long way to be at your wedding and you would like some group shots. I would ask that we can keep these to a maximum of six and aim to have these done within 20-30 minutes. In my experience guests do not like to wait around too long for posed photographs.
Black & white or colour images?
I love the look of both, sometimes a moment can be enhanced by removing the colour. Typically the final product you will receive will yield a 70/30 split in favour of colour images.
Do you require feeding on the day?
Yes please! I will be working hard for 10+ hours capturing lots of candid images. When you have your wedding breakfast it would be great if you could supply me with a hot meal and if possible in a separate room. I work best when fed ;)
How do we go ahead and book you?
When you are happy and are ready to secure me for your wedding day, just get in touch to start the ball rolling, all I need is a £250 security deposit along with a signed booking form (provided by me). The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding.
How many images will we receive?
With my typical 10 hour wedding coverage you will receive no less than 250 images. I focus on quality over quantity. I don't want to give you 20 images of a wedding dress hanging up, I look to photograph emotions and expressions that really tell the story of your day. All these files will be high resolution jpegs
Will you travel to our wedding?
Yes, I am based in South Wales, but I travel all over England & Wales which is included in my photography fee. If you are getting married overseas and would like me to attend, as long as you can get me there and accommodate me I will be more than happy to photograph your day.
What happens if you are sick and unable to attend our wedding?
Thankfully I have never missed a wedding. I would always fight hard to be at your wedding. If there was a problem however, I would call upon my large network of photographer friends (who also shoot in a similar style) and request that they cover the wedding.
